The house,
in a few frames.

A few images of the terrace, the dining room, and the moments that made La Bodega what it is, season after season.

Plate 01

The arbour, full of life.

Our favourite room — built up by many hands, season after season. An old vine for a ceiling, tables filling up from noon, and the house signature colour on the walls.

La Bodega's terrace in service — full tables under the vine, summer light filtering through the leaves
— Under the arbour, a July service.
Inside La Bodega — round black-and-gold sign on wood panelling, banquette and bricks
— The sign, the brick, the banquette in the shade.

Plate 02

The sign, the house through line.

Our marker from day one — a Soulac-blue circle on the brick, found outside under the bunting and inside above the banquette. One image, two moods, one single house.

"A truly lovely spot. The terrace under its living-roof of leaves is a little piece of paradise."

— Julien B., June 2025

Plate 03

On the plate, no detours.

Honest cooking and a few blackboard classics, photographed straight off the pass.

Beef tartare, mesclun salad and a tall pile of hand-cut fries
— Hand-cut tartare, house fries.
Grilled pork chop, market vegetables, soft fries and green sauce
— Grilled pork chop, market vegetables.

Everyday life at La Bodega.

The little corners, the habits, the things we set back in place every morning before opening.

The cosy sofa corner — pallet banquette, linen cushions, small terracotta cacti
— The sofa corner, under the vine.
The pale-wood counter, rosé bottles lined up, blue-and-white stools
— The bar, at rosé o'clock.
Inside — long counter, rattan pendants, seafoam-green shelves
— The dining room, sheltered when the wind picks up.
A child enjoying a mocktail at the bar, a La Bodega bottle nearby
— Mocktail at the bar, no age limit.
The arbour at rest — long tables set, green light filtering down
— The arbour, ten minutes before service.

Photos are updated season after season by the La Bodega team.

The La Bodega team in front of the façade, under the tricolour bunting
— The full team, in front of the house.

Plate 05

The house, that's us.

A small, close-knit team — in the kitchen, in the dining room, at the bar — that keeps the place running season after season. We don't have a grand speech about it: we're just glad to see you walk in, and we cook the way we'd like to be cooked for.

Children & dog friendly, as always. And yes, the blue apron is the house signature.

Plate 06

Birthdays & private events
— on request.

The arbour lends itself well to the big occasions. We privatise all or part of the house for your birthdays, hen/stag parties, corporate cocktails or family meals — quoted case-by-case.

Place settings under the arbour — dressed tables, balloons and a Happy Birthday garland
— Place settings, right before the guests arrive.
Private cocktail under the arbour, pastel balloons and drinks among friends
— Cocktail with or without alcohol.
Private evening party at nightfall — fairy lights on, guests at the bar
— And the same arbour, at nightfall.
Charcuterie & aged-cheese board, house pickles
— The house board, dressed to order.
Crudités and house sauces, Bordeaux bottles in the background
— Crudité platter, two house dips.
Champagne flutes lined up and Bordeaux bottles, ready for the guests
— Flutes lined up, we're ready for everyone.

Push the green door.

A 19th-century red-brick building, with cream banding and fir-green shutters. The La Bodega sign hand-painted in an arch above the door — impossible to miss.

"A truly charming place, with this superb patio covered by a living canopy of vines — the food is a real treat, go without hesitation."

— Marylène F., July 2025
